NYC Traffic Cams

Driving into or around Manhattan? The NYC Department of Transporation has a great website that provides live traffic cams of all the major arteries so you can check out the traffic before you head out. There are also several streaming cams for each burough, which entertain me a lot more than they probably should.

Looking at this site makes me think a few things: (1) I wonder if anybody has used the Broadway @ 46th Street cam to watch the ball drop on New Year's Eve? (2) I bet it's a lot less fun to be a traffic reporter when you can just sit in front of a computer and watch the real-time traffic streams instead of flying around in the traffic 'copter.
